Note to authors for Lean Six Sigma London
This is the 2nd Lean Six Sigma conference in England giving authors the opportunity to share their knowledge and current experiences, where a peer programme committee will review and select the "best" and most appropriate papers. Remember, also, that authors attend the conference for free!
Abstract Guidelines for PapersYour paper will need to be submitted in Word, using the Harvard Referencing System. In the first instance, please submit either an abstract within a word limit of 300 to 500 words, or the full paper. Please additionally provide a short author bio. Ensure that the conference paper title describes the subject you are writing about. You should limit the length of the title to no more than 12 words, preferably shorter. With regards the body of the abstract you need to make a clear statement which of the conference topics your paper is addressing. Please state what the value of your findings are and to whom will they be of use. The abstract should briefly describe the work to be discussed in your paper and also give a concise summary of the findings. Your abstract should not include diagrams and in general, references are not required in the abstract. We strongly recommend that you ensure your abstract satisfies these points:
Keywords and Key PhrasesPlease provide key words at the same time as the abstract. Key words or phrases are used by Internet search engines to locate the paper. Somewhere between 5 and 10 key words are required and they should be the words which most closely reflect the content of the paper. Please email email@example.com to submit your abstract or paper.

The conference will be held in the Anatomy Building (JZ Young Lecture Theatre/Gavin de Beer Room) which is part of University College London (UCL). The Anatomy Building is situated on Gower Street which is only a short walk from Euston Sq/Goodge St tube stations.
The conference dinner will be held at Senate House (Jessel Room & Court Room) which is an iconic Art Deco statement on the London skyline. The rich history and architecture of this unique venue in London inspired George Orwell and has made it an ideal location for a conference dinner. The conference is organised by Harvington Management Solutions , a successful privately owned UK company which has been established for 6 years. The conference chairman is Dr. Stephen Foster, a lean evangelist and one of the earliest pioneers in Lean, having been trained in the Toyota Production System, Kaizen and 5S by members of the "Toyota Club" at Nippon Light Metals in Japan, at Nagoya, Kambara and Funabashi during 1987-1988.
